Fireworks to light up Costa Brava |
People enjoying villa holidays on the Costa Brava will see the area lit up by spectacular pyrotechnic displays this month.
The Costa Brava International Firework Competition will take place between July 22nd and 27th.
This event gives holidaymakers a period of six days to visit the town of Blanes, which provides the best locations to enjoy the stunning firework displays.
Blanes is located in the Catalonian province of Girona and is a popular town among people taking summer breaks and villa holidays on the Costa Brava.
The local coastline stretches for 4km and boasts the well-known locations of Blanes beach and S'Abanell beach, as well as steep rocky cliffs and small isolated coves.
Another attraction that people staying in Costa Brava villas may be interested in visiting is the Marimurtra botanical garden, which is one of the oldest and most valuable gardens of its kind in Europe.
The gardens were first developed in the early 20th century by German botanist Karl Faust.
