France to be represented at WTM 2008 |
The French Government Tourist Office will be one of the many exhibitors at this year's World Travel Market (WTM), where it will showcase the many experiences on offer to people taking villa holidays and other trips in the country.
Set to be held at London's ExCel centre from November 10th to 13th, the WTM is a travel industry event that welcomes more than 45,000 professionals representing over 200 countries and regions.
France is one of the world's most popular destinations for people taking villa holidays and other overseas trips, with nearly 11.3 million British visitors to the country in 2007.
According to a press statement from the country's tourist office, France retains its appeal to holidaymakers by "constantly developing in line with travellers' evolving expectations".
The experiences on offer to people taking villa holidays in France range from enjoying a dozen oysters in one of Brittany's ports for only 3 (£2.40) to sampling the vintages on offer at the Bordeaux wine festival.
At WTM 2008, France will show off all that it has to offer to the travel industry, with stands dedicated to the city of Bordeaux, national monuments, new things to do in 2009 and many other topics.
